The women at point zero arsham

"Danger has been part of my life ever since I picked up a pen and wrote. Nothing is more perilous than truth in a world that lies."

This means that what she does is dangerous. If you write the truth and people are used to lies you will be shunned. She is stating that if you write the truth when the people want to hear what they want. You will be denied and looked down upon. Women at this time were frowned upon at this time. Men were superior to women and if a woman stood up they would be killed. The world works in a way that if you go against the "flow" you will regret it and you would next time with what society wants.
